Where do I find my license key?
Your license key was sent to your email when you purchased your license. It starts with VS- followed by alphanumeric characters. Check your inbox (and spam folder) for an email from hello@vois.so.
Why does Mac show 'unidentified developer' on first launch?
Vois isn't distributed through the Mac App Store, so macOS shows a security warning. Right-click the app and select 'Open' to bypass this—you only need to do this once.
Why does Windows show 'Windows protected your PC'?
Vois isn't signed with a code signing certificate yet (they're expensive for indie developers). Windows shows this blue screen for any unsigned software. Click 'More info' then 'Run anyway'—the app is safe. This only happens during installation.
Can I use Vois offline after installation?
Yes. After initial installation and license activation, Vois works completely offline. All voice generation happens on your computer.
How long does voice generation take?
Generation speed depends on your hardware. Most modern computers generate audio at 3-10x real-time—a 60-second clip typically takes 6-20 seconds.
What if my license key doesn't work?
