Vois comes with 54 voices that were chosen because they actually sound like people—not robotic, not weirdly over-processed. We're talking American English, British English, Japanese, Mandarin Chinese, Spanish, French, Hindi, Italian, and Brazilian Portuguese. Each one was selected for how naturally it speaks, how clear the articulation is, how you'd actually want to listen to them narrate something.
But here's the thing: even with 54 voices, sometimes you still can't find exactly what you're looking for. So we added something a bit magical.
Voice blending (the not-so-secret sauce)
Want a voice that's 60% warm narrator and 40% energetic host? You can do that. Blend up to four voices together, adjust the mix until it's perfect, and save it as a preset you'll use across all your projects.
It sounds like a small feature. It's not. This opens up this weird creative space where you're not choosing between predefined options anymore—you're actually creating. And once you find a blend you love, it's there waiting for your next project.
Custom voices from your own audio
Upload a 30-second audio sample—could be your own voice, an actor, whoever—and Vois will create a custom voice that matches it. Everything stays local. No uploading audio files to random servers. Your custom voice lives on your machine.
This changes things if you're doing character work, or if you're trying to maintain brand consistency, or you just want all your audiobooks narrated in exactly the same voice as your last one. You can actually make that happen now.
Audio that sounds professional, like, actually
We included a complete mastering chain because good audio isn't an accident—it's the difference between something you'll listen to and something you'll skip. There's LUFS loudness normalization (that's the standard way streaming platforms measure how loud things are), a de-esser to tame harsh sibilants, EQ, a limiter. All built in.
And then there's export presets. You generate audio, and Vois knows exactly how to format it for Spotify. Or YouTube. Or Apple Podcasts. Or audiobooks to ACX standards. You're not guessing. You're not running things through three other tools. It just works.
